The door is an evolution of the Rasomuro system of Lualdi, considered leader among the best interior design brands for doors. The idea was to create a profile that would allow even more the integration between the door and the architectural elements of the interiors. The walls finished in plaster or covered with ceramic tiles, marble or wood considering also the wall-to-flush skirting which is part of it in different materials like wood, marble, ceramic, metal, ect. The profile has been though out carefully analyzing the problems that usually arise in a construction site to facilitate the installation of the door and reaching a new and refined aesthetic result. The result is an elegant, rich door, and at the same time modern and minimalist. The profile made with an advanced technology of aluminum extrusion is characterized by a balanced interplay between solid and void, the hinges are completely concealed, in this way the door is framed by a thin shadow that highlights the boundary. The flush-to-wall skirting beats against the door frame, creating a highly sought after architectural element. Shade is characterized by a pragmatic and sophisticated design, where the beauty is found be found in the ratio between all elements from the smallest detail to the overall impact of the interior of a large building.
The design came alife by the idea of characterizing and exalting the door as an element of scenographic furniture. “Lumière” stands slightly out from the wall, in the created space between the lateral supports and the wall we wanted to insert lighting elements. The obtained effect is the perception of a vertical panel hanging on a lit surface. The importance and the richness of the wood, (lacquered or wood finish), creates the desired contrast with the lightness and the suspension created by the light which is defines its borders. On the lateral supports, a number sign can be seen, backlit for any eventual use for hotels or residences. The product is perfectly suitable for home and contract interior design solutions, especially for public spaces because of its fire rated certificate (EI30).
